Job Description: Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and IT infrastructure, with expertise in service-oriented architecture and various cloud platforms. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that meet the needs of our organization and clients.
Responsibilities
 Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or Rackspace.
 Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
 Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services with existing applications and systems.
 Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments through system hardening and best practices.
 Monitor cloud performance and optimize resource usage to ensure efficiency.
 Implement CI/CD pipelines for software deployment using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
 Troubleshoot issues related to cloud services, networking (VPN), and web services (RESTful APIs).
 Stay current with emerging technologies in cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization (Docker).

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
 Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or OpenStack.
 Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, or Ruby.
 Familiarity with database technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
 Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and Citrix.
 Experience with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
 Understanding of microservices architecture and application development principles.
 Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), or Shell Scripting.
