This unique role supports an AI-powered search platform and is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of front-end development, user support, and problem-solving. You’ll collaborate closely with both IT and business teams to improve the search experience and resolve technical issues. This is a remote role with occasional visits at office in Greater Milwaukee. The position is contract role through the remainder of 2025 with possible extension for 2026. Desired Skills and Experience: Strong React development experience, with an understanding of front-end workflows and user experience Ability to review and triage feedback from users on AI search results Analyze issues to determine if problems stem from user prompts, system bugs, or source content Work directly with business users (often non-technical) to explain issues and recommend solutions Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with IT teams to identify bugs and ensure timely resolution Participate in discussions to help classify issues as data, prompt, or system related Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Nice to Have: Familiarity with .NET or back-end systems for full-stack debugging Experience with AI search tools like Azure Cognitive Search, Elasticsearch, or vector search Knowledge of LLM pipelines, prompt engineering, or document-based systems Why Work Here: Collaborative environment bridging business and technical teams Opportunity to grow within both front-end development and AI search technologies Fast-paced, problem-solving culture with real impact on user experience NRC is committed to providing our consultants with better experience.
