Summary

We’re looking for an experienced NetSuite SuiteScript Engineer to support our development and automation initiatives. You’ll be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing NetSuite functionality using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, RESTlets, and other technical tools.

This role is ideal for a self-driven developer who understands not only how to write great code—but how to map it to real business problems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SuiteScript 2.x scripts (user event, client, scheduled, map/reduce, RESTlets)

- Build and refine custom workflows, integrations, and business logic in NetSuite

- Collaborate with our functional consultants to scope and execute tech solutions

- Debug and troubleshoot existing scripts and performance issues

- Maintain best practices in NetSuite development and documentation

Requirements:
- 3+ years of NetSuite development experience, with deep knowledge of SuiteScript 2.0/2.1

- Experience working with RESTlets, SuiteTalk, and custom records

- Ability to understand functional requirements and translate them into clean, maintainable code

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and asynchronous programming

- Experience with version control tools like Git (preferred)

- Clear communicator and comfortable working in remote, fast-paced teams

Bonus Points For:
- Experience integrating NetSuite with 3rd-party platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce, Odoo, etc.)

- Familiarity with NetSuite's SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)

- Past consulting or agency experience with multiple NetSuite environments

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $34.14 - $39.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
