About the Role

We’re looking for a Mobile Engineer who specializes in React Native to help us build and grow our mobile app. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build features that improve the user experience and support our product goals. This role is a great fit if you enjoy owning your work, collaborating across teams, and writing clean, reliable code that scales.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain our React Native mobile app for iOS and Android.
Collaborate with our product manager and designer to bring new features to life.
Write code that’s performant, stable, and easy to maintain.
Integrate with backend APIs and help ensure a smooth user experience.
Improve app performance, fix bugs, and troubleshoot production issues.
Write and maintain tests to keep the app reliable.
Participate in code reviews and help shape best practices for mobile development.
What We’re Looking For

2+ years of hands-on experience building mobile apps with React Native.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play.
Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and performance best practices.
Comfortable working with native modules when needed.
Familiarity with integrating REST APIs and building apps that work offline.
Strong debugging skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience working in fast-moving teams (startups, Agile environments, etc.).
Bonus Points For

Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
Familiarity with tools like Firebase, Sentry, or mobile analytics platforms.
Understanding of mobile app security and authentication best practices.
Experience working with distributed backend services.
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Work Location: Remote
