We’ve spent years building and monetizing high-traffic websites through in-house SEO and affiliate marketing. Now, we’re shifting toward developing our own software solutions - tools that directly solve problems for our audiences across multiple niches, from finance to entertainment. We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer who can take ownership of the entire development function, working alongside leadership to bring AI-driven products to market quickly, efficiently, and at a high level of quality. What You’ll Do Own the development process for all internal tools and consumer-facing software products. Design and build AI-powered solutions that automate workflows and deliver tangible value to end users. Develop and maintain full-stack applications (web, iOS, Android) including backend, frontend, APIs, and databases. Integrate AI/ML models, APIs, and automation frameworks into production-ready apps. Collaborate directly with the CEO and Commercial Manager to shape product roadmaps. Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development while applying strong architectural judgment. Plan for scalability, security, and long-term maintainability from day one. Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to protect against single points of failure. Potentially mentor future hires as the dev team grows. Must-Have Skills & Experience Full-stack development expertise (backend, frontend, APIs, databases) Hands-on AI/ML integration experience (LLMs, automation, AI agent frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar) Track record of independently building and launching software products from scratch Strong cloud deployment skills (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including scaling and securing applications Experience with web and mobile app development (React, Vue, or similar for frontend; iOS/Android frameworks) Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to emerging AI tools and tech Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a small, fast-moving, low-bureaucracy team Nice-to-Haves Plugin or SaaS product development experience Prompt engineering skills PHP experience (many of our upcoming projects involve PHP-based apps) Experience with automation tools like AutoGPT, N8N, or similar systems Who You Are Comfortable working autonomously and making high-level technical decisions Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward fast execution and problem-solving Thrives in an environment with shifting priorities and new opportunities Understands how to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders Interested in building products from the ground up — not just maintaining existing code Why This Role Matters You won’t just be a developer here — you’ll own the software development function.
