Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team to build and enhance scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development and be proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot. This role will require working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend solutions in a fast-paced environment. Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot
Build and consume RESTful APIs
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, primarily using PostgreSQL
Integrate and manage messaging using Kafka
Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and DevOps teams
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Experience:

Strong proficiency in Java (preferably Java 11 or higher)
Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
Experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Apache Kafka for stream processing and event-driven architecture
Good understanding of software development best practices, Git, and CI/CD tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
Familiarity with microservices architecture
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
