Job Title: Java developer
Location: Remote

Job Schedule: Full Time (40 Hours/Week)

Salary: : $85,530.00/Annum

Job duties:

Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies in accordance with software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.
Analyze system requirements, design specifications, and business processes to create scalable and efficient Java-based backend services and APIs.
Write reusable, maintainable, and efficient code using Java, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, coding standards, and secure development protocols.
Integrate Java applications with external systems and databases using technologies such as RESTful/SOAP web services, JDBC, JPA, Hibernate, and messaging queues.
Work on creating, optimizing, refactoring SQL and NoSQL scripts for faster retrieval of data from the database.
Work closely with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and UI/UX Designers to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed system specifications and robust software solutions.
Test the application in Integration, Test, UAT and Production environment to make sure the system is working as expected.
Use Postman to post and test data through Web API endpoints and check the functionality in GCP Cloud.
Use Github, to commit and merge the code changes daily as the whole team follows CI/CD approach.
Document software designs, new and existing functionalities for future mainte nance and enhancements.
Acts as an expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
Minimum Education Requirement: This position requires minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects
