The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in Java and a passion for creating robust applications and Quality Assurance. This role requires proficiency in both back-end and front-end development, as well as experience with various IT infrastructures and cloud services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in an Agile environment to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. Duties Design, develop, and implement web applications using Java and related technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable code while following best practices for software development. Develop RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities. Utilize version control systems such as Git and SVN for code management. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application performance and reliability. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Work with databases such as MySQL and SQL for data storage and retrieval. Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance application development. Experience Proficiency in Java programming language; experience with C#, Python, or C++ is a plus. Strong understanding of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React Express. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment. Experience in application development within Linux environments. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC). Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and practices. Experience with Ruby on Rails is desirable but not mandatory. Familiarity with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) principles for secure application design. Previous experience working with RESTful APIs is essential.
