Overview
We are looking for a talented and driven Backend Engineer with strong experience in Golang to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems, REST and gRPC APIs, and working within a modern microservices architecture. You should have a deep understanding of both relational and non-relational databases, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain robust and efficient REST and gRPC APIs using Golang.
Build and maintain microservices that support critical product functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize database schema and queries for high performance and scalability across relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) systems.
Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Document technical designs and processes clearly and thoroughly.
Experience

Strong experience designing and building RESTful and gRPC APIs.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
Experience in building high-performance, scalable APIs and database solutions.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, and basic knowledge of orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Exposure to event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
