The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of programming languages and accounting principles, enabling them to develop and maintain software solutions that support financial operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and financial acumen, making it essential for the candidate to be proficient in various accounting functions while also being adept at coding. Duties Develop, test, and implement software applications that streamline accounting processes. Collaborate with the finance team to understand their software needs and translate them into technical specifications. Maintain and update existing applications to ensure optimal performance and compliance with accounting standards. Perform account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions. Utilize double entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records. Support corporate accounting activities by providing technical solutions that enhance reporting capabilities. Work with accounting software, particularly , to integrate programming solutions that improve efficiency. Provide technical support for users of the accounting software, addressing any issues or concerns. Experience The ideal candidate should have: Proven experience in C+ programming with a solid understanding of financial accounting principles. Familiarity with account reconciliation processes. Knowledge of journal entries, corporate accounting practices, and double entry bookkeeping. Proficiency in using accounting software, is preferred.
