Full job description
As our company and product suite is expanding, we have an immediate opening for a well-rounded, full-time full-stack oriented Django developer.

In this fully remote position, you will be working closely with our current staff, reporting directly to the President of Products and VP of Development.

Responsibilities

Working alongside a designer for implementing and architecting front-end Javascript and stylesheets to match mockups with full responsiveness across all screen sizes
Design and develop JSON APIs and views on the back-end using the Django web framework
Duties

Participating in daily stand ups and tech meetings
Acting as a team player that is open to help from others and is willing to teach others
Writing clean, functional code on the front and back-end
Testing software and fixing bugs or other issues
Managing development environments and code branches
Contribute to process evolution in sharing ideas
Executing project deliverables
Qualifications and Skills

The following Qualifications and Skills are required for this position:

Strong proficiency with the Django Web Framework and Python (3.10+)
Strong proficiency with React with a service-oriented architecture with dependency injection
String proficiency with RxJS
Strong proficiency in Javascript (ES6+, TypeScript)
Strong proficiency with LESS, SCSS or other preprocessor stylesheet/CSS languages
Experience with version control using Git
Experience with Django and Javascript test frameworks (JEST or others)
Experience with JQuery
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
The following Qualifications would be nice to have:

An eye for design and ability to iterate on UIs
Webpack experience
Linux Server familiarity (any flavor)
Playwright/Puppeteer or other cross-browser automation library experience
Experience with COLMAP (or similar SfM tools) and ARKit/ARCore
Hands-on work with point-cloud/SLAM pipelines
Experience shipping Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) projects or native iOS/Android apps
Bonus points for experience with the following:

The candidate we are looking for has mid-level coding experience with preferably 5 years experience with Django and Python.

You should be quick in navigating an unfamiliar codebase, especially a Django project layout, and be able to read and utilize in-house developer documentation for tasks when needed.
