Job Requirements:

Practical experience with embedded systems integration.
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with communication protocols such as RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, Modbus, and general networking protocols.
Proficiency in Python programming for embedded device integration.
Familiarity with protocol analysis and use of sniffing/debugging tools.
Role Description: You will join a team of experienced IoT engineers focusing on integrating embedded devices commonly utilized in the car wash industry. Your tasks will include:

Developing software solutions to integrate sensors, relays, input/output modules, and various monitoring devices (e.g., water and chemical sensors).
Handling integration and communication with network-based and serial communication devices, including PCBs and embedded modules.
Analyzing device communication protocols using protocol sniffing and debugging tools to facilitate custom software development and seamless integration.
Your work will significantly contribute to the reliability and effectiveness of our embedded Linux-based solutions within an industrial carwash automation context.About Clean Trak: Clean Trak is a platform that runs car washes. It manages a queuing system including opening and closing barrier gates, using license plate recognition to validate vehicles and turns on and off car wash equipment to minimize water and chemical usage while improving the quality of the car wash.

The car wash industry is growing rapidly, with over 15,000 tunnel car washes across the United States. Clean Trak is transforming this industry into a high tech environment, by tailoring the wash process to the specific type of vehicle. Clean Trak also enables car washes to connect to their customers by integrating with third party POS systems and other industry leading technologies.

Location: Clean Trak is located in West Roxbury, MA. The role will be hybrid, with over 50% work from home.
