Title: Drupal Web Developer
Location: Remote (U.S.-Based)

RIVA Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly capable Mid-Level Drupal Web Developer to support the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) under the OCIO’s Collaborative Services Division (CSD). This role will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of federal websites, with a focus on ensuring accessibility, usability, and platform scalability in a Drupal-based environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Design, develop, and deploy responsive and accessible web pages using Drupal and related web technologies.
Support all phases of website development, including layout, functionality, integration, and optimization.
Develop custom modules and features using PHP, JavaScript, and PERL scripting.
Utilize Starshot, HTML5, CSS, and Linux Shell scripting to enhance site structure and visual presentation.
Implement and manage content delivery and notifications through GovDelivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and QA engineers to implement modern UX principles and Section 508 compliance.
Configure and manage web servers and applications in Apache/Linux environments.
Build and maintain web services integrations to support dynamic and interactive content.
Provide technical documentation, maintenance support, and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 10+ years of IT experience supporting full lifecycle web development and deployment.
At least 3+ years of experience working with Drupal, Starshot, PHP, Apache, Linux Shell scripting, GovDelivery, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, CGI, PERL, and Microsoft Office tools.
Strong understanding of Section 508 standards and ability to ensure compliance in federal web environments.
Experience with building and maintaining web services integrations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience working on federal or large-scale public sector website development projects.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of Drupal theming and custom module development.
Salary: $110,000 - 130,000K DOE
