The time is now.The Data Scientist brings expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical data analytics, and applications. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide leadership guidance on data sciences initiativesEstablish and implement end to end proof of concept for data analyses across functional areasCreate innovative methodologies for dataBuild proof of concept systemsEstablish strategic partnerships with technical leadership across functional areasPresent to senior leadership as well external audiencesTravel up to 10%Minimum Qualifications:3+ years hands-on experience in machine learningBachelor’s degree or higher required in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with focus on data analysisMust have an excellent knowledge of advanced methods and experience in applying those methods to a variety of applicationsMust be agile to grow in new directions, work with a team of scientists and practitioners from different functional areas to solve problems in pharmaceuticalsCommand of principles of machine learning, statistical analysis, data mining algorithms, and mathematical modelingDemonstrated ability to use knowledge of recent techniques, and develop new methodologiesDemonstrated experience in Large Language ModelsExcellent software development skills, esp. in rapid prototypingExcellent communication skillsExperience in GCP (VertexAI, Healthcare NLP, etc.) or AWSExperience in health care data analytics preferredDemonstrated ability to create new and different solutions that align to real work problems and opportunitiesProficiency in computer programming with excellent software development skills using state-of-the-art technologies and languages, specifically R and PythonCompetenciesAccountability for Results - Stay focused on key strategic objectives, be accountable for high standards of performance, and take an active role in leading change.Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving - Make decisions considering the long-term impact to customers, patients, employees, and the business.Patient & Customer Centricity - Maintain an ongoing focus on the needs of our customers and/or key stakeholders.Impactful Communication - Communicate with logic, clarity, and respect. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum.
