We are seeking skilled Backend Software Engineers to join our development team, working closely with our Lead Full Stack Software Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend services for a new web application. This role focuses on building efficient server-side logic, integrating with databases, and developing RESTful APIs to power our frontend experiences. You will collaborate with front-end engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and user needs. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Flask or Django and Python. Build and optimize database models, queries, and stored procedures using MS SQL (or similar RDBMS). Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration of backend services with user-facing components. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability. Implement automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Optimize application performance, conduct load testing, and troubleshoot backend issues. Contribute technical documentation for both internal and external stakeholders. Work within Linux-based development environments and participate in deployment processes. Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and advocate for continuous improvement. Requirements: Must have Healthcare RCM Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of professional experience in backend web development. Proficiency in Python and Flask or Django for backend application development. Strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation. Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably MS SQL, including schema design and query optimization. Familiarity with Linux-based development and deployment environments. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Qualifications and Experience: Experience with additional backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI) or microservices architectures. Knowledge of Healthcare and RCM operations. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices. Experience with performance monitoring and tuning backend systems. Exposure to frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Engineering degree preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
