The ideal candidate is a team player who works well with others but is also able to work independently. You excel at creating and improving scalable services in line with innovations. As a Back-end Developer, your role could include building services, REST APIs, and state aware workflows largely in cloud environments. We love collaborating with teammates on new app designs, partnering with front-end developers, Quality Analysts, Business Analysts, and other team members to combine work into a cohesive product, and improving existing services.Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the RoleDevelop and maintain applications using cloud architecture working in Jira and GitAbility to build from user stories and be active in technical designBuild efficient, scalable, secure, and observable applicationsAble to take and give feedback in team meetings and code reviewBuild and maintain highly scalable services and workflowsBe proactive and responsive in addressing technical issuesMust Have Skills:Go and additional scripting language experience7+ years of experience in Go is required; Node, C#, Rust.Database Integration experience5+ years of experience; Ingesting data, making queries, updating and populating documents – Relevant skills and experience.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously3+ years of experience.Background: Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationTechnology Requirements:Capable of self-deployments in a well-defined container pipelineFirm understanding of cloud infrastructureSolid experience with Go and one or more of the following: Node, C#, RustUnderstanding of SQL and document database developmentExperience with workflow engines (SDVI Rally, Airflow, Step Functions, Argo Workflows, Jenkins, etc.)Nice to Have Skills:Experience working in Media/Entertainment.Experience with Video Engineering (AWS Media Convert, FFMpeg, etc.)Additional Notes
