This technical position is responsible for taking specifications from business analysts and providing reports, tables, views, forms (application functions) for the business environment. These application enhancements will bridge across all aspects of the JD Edwards implementation in a manufacturing environment across the various departments (Sales, Payroll, Accounting, Supply Chain etc.) using the system. You will work closely with the application analysts to craft applications that drive business value and efficiency. This is a highly technical role. That requires high proficiency in JD Edwards Enterprise One development toolsets. This role will be remote, and the successful individual must reside in the Continental US full-time. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to build upon new business modules and capabilities offered in a recently implemented E1 9.2 environment. Job Responsibilities: Application Integration – REST, JSON, Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS), Orchestrator Gather requirements, design, and develop with the Oracle JD Edwards E1 Development toolset and related technologies. Develop/Modify JDE standard and custom reports, applications, tables, business views, data structures and business functions. Document requirements, technical design and specifications. Review and analyze business requirements and develop solutions using JDE E1 Coordinate/lead projects with independent contractors and vendor consultants Perform Unit testing to ensure applications and processes work as expected Analyzing and troubleshooting systems and processes Mentor and Coach junior associates and peers Creates logic/process flow diagrams for complex routines, assists in debugging of programs, testing, and correction of program logic. Develop Orchestrations and Notifications using the JDE E1 Orchestrator Development tools Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 10 years’ experience with a focus on JD Edwards development Worked on at least 2-4 end-to-end implementation using Orchestrator, Groovy Experience in Oracle VBCS integration to JDE AIS – designing, developing, and implementing custom extensions and applications within OCI. Experience developing applications using Java, C Strong understanding of relational database concepts and design In-depth knowledge and use of JDE API’s, custom UBE’s, Business Functions (BSSV) and NER’s Ability to develop and provide support of JDE EnterpriseOne BI Publisher, One View watch lists and reporting. In-depth knowledge of the JDE database structures and how the application uses the underlying tables and data. Understanding of different operating environments (DV, PY, PD) and associated object promotion rules. Previous experience supporting and integrating third-party systems Problem solver and should be able to work independently A high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines Prioritize work properly and manage end user expectations Solid experience in leading projects with internal and external customers Process improvement & leveraging best practices JDE Functional skills in any or all: Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Order Management Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience Required Work Environment: Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment.
