Job type Contract   Full job description AI/ML Project CoordinatorRole Purpose: As an AI/ML Project Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate GAIA’s technical milestones across geospatial engineering, atmospheric correction, and machine learning research. You will act as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery, proper documentation, and smooth collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Manage project deliverables, schedules, and dependencies across multi-disciplinary technical teams. Oversee version control, GitHub repository organization, and ensure high-quality technical documentation. Facilitate effective communication between geospatial engineers, ML researchers, and external partners. Serve as the primary technical liaison with NOAA’s TPOC, ensuring project goals and reporting requirements are met. Implement Agile methodologies to drive efficient workflows, sprint planning, and progress tracking. Monitor risks, bottlenecks, and provide proactive solutions to keep projects on track. Required Skills & Experience: Proven project management experience in technical domains (AI, ML, or geospatial preferred). Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Asana). Ability to manage technical documentation and version control systems (GitHub). Experience coordinating cross-functional R&D teams in AI and/or geospatial projects. Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
