Position: Data Scientist
Location: Hartford, CT (On-Site)
Duration: Contract
Rate: $50/hour
Experience Required: 10+ Years

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in AI and cloud-based development. The ideal candidate should have:

5+ years of Python experience, with hands-on knowledge of frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Pydantic.
Experience working with modern AI development frameworks like Langchain, CrewAI, and Google ADK.
Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially Vertex AI and Cloud Run.
Familiarity with version control using GitHub and implementing CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions.
A solid understanding of the AI agent lifecycle, including tool calling, ReACT, and advanced prompt engineering techniques.
Experience building and optimizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications.
Deep knowledge of evaluating and testing AI applications using frameworks and metrics such as AI-as-a-Judge, RAGAS, RAPID, and other evaluation techniques.
A strong foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including tasks like semantic similarity and intent classification.
