Responsibilities include leading AI/ML platform and engineering strategy, driving architecture alignment, offering technical guidance, developing architecture standards, collaborating with data scientists and engineers, optimizing AI/ML processes, communicating with stakeholders, and facilitating product selection aligned with architectural standards.What You’ll Work On• Lead AI/ML Platform & Engineering strategy, including Generative AI and Advanced Analytics.• Drive alignment on architecture adoption and realization, partnering with business leaders.• Offer thought leadership and technical advice to business and tech leadership.• Develop Technical Architecture standards and guidelines based on industry trends.• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build production-level models and pipelines.• Optimize AI/ML processes and assist in model performance monitoring with operations team.• Communicate effectively with non-IT stakeholders to define technical solutions.• Facilitate product selection in alignment with Architecture Standards.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience, Master’s Degree with 7+ years of related experience, or Ph.D. with 2+ years of related experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience in building and deploying Machine Learning solutions using various ML algorithms and hands-on experience with Python programmingExperience in building IT use cases / solutions especially around AI/ML cognitive services and platforms, Model productionization, and CICD Automation.Excellent understanding of Machine Learning techniques and proficiency in feature analysis, algorithm selection and model hyperparameter tuningExperience of senior executive/leadership engagementExposure to various aspects of architecture practices and frameworks: business, application, data, security, infrastructure and governanceExperience with NLP/NLG, AI Conversational Agents & Other Generative AI, and Software development lifecyclesExperience with Azure OpenAI, Azure Databricks, CloudDBs,Experience in reviewing and selecting Technical and Applications Architectures solutionsCertifications and specializations in AI/ML, LLMs and Cloud platformsExcellent oral, written and presentation communication skillsPreferred team leadership experience and demonstrated mentorship capabilitiesApply NowLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:  www.abbottbenefits.comFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
