AI Developer & Automation Specialist - Automotive Sales and Beyond

GENERAL INFORMATION

Position: AI Developer / Automation Specialist - Automotive & Related Sectors

Engagement: Full-Time / Freelance / Contract

Location: Remote or On-site (Maputo, Mozambique)

Experience Level: Mid to Senior (3+ years)

Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience

PROJECT OVERVIEW

- We are seeking an experienced AI Developer to design and implement a robust, end-to-end automation system that will:

- Receive and process customer requests via WhatsApp and website channels

- Execute automated searches across multiple platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, websites)

- Analyze vehicle images using AI and machine learning models

- Compile and generate dynamic, real-time reports

- Distribute information seamlessly to customers and the sales network

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Development & Implementation

- Develop and customize chatbots (Chatfuel, ManyChat) integrated with WhatsApp Business

- Build and maintain web scraping solutions (Apify, Phantombuster) for automated data acquisition

- Integrate and fine-tune image recognition APIs (Google Vision AI, Custom Vision)

- Configure intelligent automation workflows (Make.com, Zapier)

- Implement automated communication systems (SendGrid, Twilio)

b) Integration & Testing

- Architect and connect all components into a cohesive, reliable workflow

- Conduct thorough functional and performance testing

- Set up monitoring systems and proactive alerts

- Optimize processes for scalability, efficiency, and reliability

c) Maintenance & Support

- Oversee system performance and stability

- Continuously improve features and integrations

- Train internal teams on workflows and tools

- Document technical procedures and best practices

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

(a) Technical Expertise

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in process automation and AI-driven integrations

- Proficiency with REST APIs and Webhooks

- Hands-on experience in web scraping (Python, JavaScript, or no-code platforms)

- Solid background in automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, or similar)

- Experience building chatbots and integrating with WhatsApp Business API

(b) Specialized Knowledge

- Data analysis and intelligent information processing

- Systems integration and middleware solutions

- Communication APIs (SendGrid, Twilio, WhatsApp)

- Familiarity with AI platforms (Google Vision, OpenAI, etc.)

- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

(c) General Competencies

- Technical English for reading documentation

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Clear communication to explain and document complex solutions

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per month
