Write & Review Code · Implement updates to Ruby on Rails code to incorporate essential changes for new features or bug fixes. · Conduct comprehensive testing of code changes of other engineers to assess their impact before deploying new features or fixes. · Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability, and implementing quality assurance measures to meet software development standards. · Identify and address technical challenges and risks and provide effective solutions to ensure the successful completion of projects. · Work closely with cross functional teams to address complex technical issues, provide innovative solutions, and foster a collaborative environment. · Actively engage in daily standup meetings to provide updates on progress, address and challenges, and communicate blockers, ensuring effective collaboration and seamless workflow within the team. 2. System Architecture & Technical Feasibility · Ideation of future developments to help make the software better. · Ensure technical requirements align with and meet evolving business needs, fostering a seamless integration between technical solutions and business objectives. · Engage with key stakeholders to provide insights and advice on the technical feasibility of the product roadmap, contributing valuable input to the strategic planning process. · Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and development guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software programming, software engineering, or a closely related field. · Demonstrate a Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development with proficiency using Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and CSS. · Experience utilizing Electron. · Proficiency in backend technologies; Postgres, SQL, with a deep understanding of their applications and best practices. · Experience with cloud technologies and platforms, such as Heroku, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. · Exhibit a robust background in B2B technology product development and design of scalable software solutions. · Display exemplary servant leadership qualities and exceptional communication skills when engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. Bonus Qualifications: · Experience configuring and utilizing logging technologies CI piplines such as SemaphoreCI, Papertrail, and Honeybadger · Experience with LLM, ML, Generative AI, or other similar technologies. · Experience with UX and design principles.
