Devops Engineer

Bax Group is an international company that develops innovative services and digital projects with a dynamic and creative approach. We offer consulting services and develop products based on AI in the areas of Media, Digital Marketing and Fashion. Our goal is to be leaders in the local Italian and European market in AI and AI integration in businesses.

What you will be doing?

- Develop and maintain existing applications and services and improve them

- Develop new services and integrate them with other services

- Collaborate with system administrator and other team members and subject matter experts to develop

- Prototype and facilitate the process from pilot software to production

- Automate implementations and implement CI/CD pipelines

- Support the team in innovatively integrating technologies

- Scout new technologies and test them and explore ways to optimize the existing solutions

- Facilitate and automate internal and customer workflows

Requires skills and experience:

- At least 5 years of experience with linux

- Good knowledge of system and software engineering skills and standards and principles

- Good experience with python

- Good experience with docker or the like (podman, singularity, lxc, ...)

- Good knowledge of configuration management (ansible, Salt Stack, ...)

- Familiarity with terraform

- Experience with CI/CD automation gitlab, jenkins, github actions, ...

- Experience with monitoring and metric collection tools such as grafana, zabbix, prometheus, ...

- Experience with databases such as postgresql, mysql, elasticsearch, mongodb, ...

- Familiarity with web application development (fastapi, flask)

- Thirsty to learn new technologies

- Speak and write English fluently

Nice to have skills:

-Experience with javascript and typescript and backend frameworks

- Familiarity with front end frameworks

- Experience with rancher

- Experience with kubernetes

- Experience with authentication and authorization

- Experience with elasticsearch, kibana, logstash
