Pay $100 an hour Job type Temporary   Full job description Summary This role involves working with large datasets—including electronic medical records and imaging data—to design and implement data-driven solutions that support consortium-wide initiatives, working closely with the Director of Operations at RIMR AMD Consortium. Responsibilities Conducts research projects to extract valuable information from big data sources, such as the electronic medical record or imaging data. Collects, analyzes, and interprets big data to uncover patterns and insights, make predications, and create actionable plans. Enhance data collection and extraction procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems. Assist with trouble shooting and daily quality control of data. Data mining using state-of-the-art methods. Data munging tasks to reshape data for statistical analyses, data visualization, and machine learning Design, develop, and implement data-driven models to support consortium-wide initiatives. Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple stakeholders. Apply machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling techniques to derive meaningful insights. Develop data visualization tools and dashboards for effective communication of findings. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with consortium policies and industry standards Ongoing Responsibilities: Work in collaborative manner with others to accomplish goals of DEI and the program(s) assigned to support. Educational Experience, Training (including Licenses and Professional Activities): 1. Education Bachelor’s degree required in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field Master’s degree preferred. 2. Experience Familiarity with the OMOP standard is strongly preferred Must be familiar with Amazon AWS, specifically with S3, EC2, Lambda, and IAM. Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages. Experience working with Big Data sources such as the electronic medical records imaging data. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, Seaborn). Experience data mining using state-of-the-art methods. Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex findings effectively. 3.
