Our client is looking for a remote Senior Software Engineer to join their team!

This is a remote/full-time/six-month contract position
Salary based on experience: $60-$70/HR

IMPACT OF THIS TECHNICAL ROLE:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on our clients' open-source software that powers many of our network automation solutions. The primary focus of this role is working on Nautobot Apps, e.g., Nautobot plugins. You will work with various leaders and project teams to better understand the requirements and roadmap for future Nautobot Apps and then execute on the building, maintenance, and support of these Apps, which includes both internal and community support.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Develops and supports Nautobot Apps using Python and Django
Work with the community and project teams to understand Nautobot App (plugin) requirements
Attends daily standups and Agile ceremonies
Comfortable working on an Agile team
Track project progress, identify and correct any delays
Quickly adopts new technologies and continuously demonstrates technical excellence

WHAT YOU BRING:
Passion for technology and excellence in delivering solutions
Loves Python and Django and can focus on exactly what's on the Jira board
Honesty and empathy to those around you daily
Confidence and decisiveness in moving the ball forward, while being flexible and open
Proactive communication skills

WHAT YOU HAVE:
5+ years of experience with Python
General understanding of networking, etc. CCNA equivalent
Comfortable in traditional Git workflows for working in a collaborative environment
Comfortable using Docker workflows for testing and development
Comfortable using Linux as your primary OS for development
