Senior Python Developer (AWS | Remote)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer to support critical cloud-based initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring strong expertise in Python development and modern AWS environments.

The ideal candidate brings a deep software engineering background, with many successful profiles having transitioned from Java to Python and now operating at a senior/architect level.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python
Build and optimize cloud-native applications within AWS environments
Develop and deploy serverless solutions using AWS Lambda
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Integrate APIs ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems
Contribute to infrastructure as code and cloud automation efforts
Required Qualifications

10–15+ years of software development experience
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Python development
Strong, recent experience working in AWS cloud environments
Proven experience with AWS Lambda (serverless architecture)
Hands-on experience with Terraform (required)
Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and backend architecture
Experience working in remote, collaborative environments
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-impact settings
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale, enterprise-level systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch)
Strong background in Java prior to transitioning to Python (highly preferred)
Experience in airline, travel, or logistics industries is a plus
