Full Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Engineer to join us on a contract basis. This is a role for an engineer who finds satisfaction in the "art of the polish"—refining existing systems, strengthening security, and shipping reliable features within a live production environment.

The Focus: Stability, refinement, and disciplined execution. The Reality: This is not a "rebuild everything" or greenfield project. We need someone who respects established architecture and focuses on incremental, high-impact improvements.

Our Current Tech Stack

We operate on a modern, streamlined stack. Proficiency in these specific tools is essential:

Frontend: React, Next.js (App Router)
Backend: Node.js, TypeScript
Database: PostgreSQL (via Supabase)
Infrastructure: Vercel
Key Responsibilities

Hardening Logic: Strengthen backend processes, edge-case handling, and permission structures.
Feature Delivery: Implement new features accurately based on defined technical specifications.
Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve overall system reliability.
Pragmatic Refactoring: Clean and optimize code incrementally without disrupting current workflows or over-engineering solutions.
Execution: Take ownership of the "middle-to-end" of the development lifecycle with minimal oversight.
Requirements

Experience: 6–10+ years of professional production experience.
System Stewardship: A proven track record of maintaining and enhancing existing, complex systems rather than just building new ones.
Security Mindset: Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, and data integrity.
Autonomy: Highly self-directed; you thrive when given a goal and the trust to execute it.
Verification: Identity and professional references will be strictly verified.
