About the Role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines and infrastructure within a Databricks Lakehouse environment. This role will be instrumental in building scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines, enabling trusted financial reporting, and establishing a strong foundation for future analytics.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data pipelines
Build and manage data warehouses and data lakes
Optimize data processing workflows
Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability
Implement data modeling and schema design
Integrate data from multiple systems
Implement data validation and monitoring
Collaborate with analytics, AI, and product teams
Support data governance and compliance efforts
Requirements

3–4+ years of experience in data engineering
Strong SQL and Python/Scala skills
Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks
Experience with cloud data platforms
Knowledge of distributed systems (Spark, Kafka)
Experience with data warehousing solutions
Understanding of data modeling techniques
Knowledge of DevOps practices for data systems

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and accuracy
Ability to document work clearly and support knowledge transfer
