Job Description
WIN is looking for a developer to help manage and build out WIN.gg, one of the world’s leading media platforms in gaming and esports.

 

This developer will be tasked with monitoring day-to-day and week-to-week website performance, and will be expected to flag, manage, and alleviate issues as they are identified. The developer will be expected to execute additive projects that implement new features and plug-ins on the website, among other tasks as required.

 

WIN.gg is an equal-opportunity employer powered by an international team of passionate gamers. As WIN.gg is a media platform, primary objectives for the developer and for the team as whole include traffic acquisition, creating return users, and converting traffic towards revenue opportunities. Most work deployments will be made with these goals in mind.

 

Applicants are strongly encouraged to have good familiarity with WordPress, Pantheon, AWS, and like services. Understanding of programmatic ad operations is a plus.

 

The WIN Group offers a fully remote working environment in which good communication is required and strong cooperation is a necessity. Applicants should be self-motivated and hungry to improve. Applicants should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and should be both capable of and comfortable with clearly communicating working objectives to other developers, to coworking peers outside of development, and to their directing manager.

 

A proven background in web development work is required. Applicants should include a resume and a cover letter briefly describing their working history and their interest in being part of the WIN.gg team. Inclusions of examples of past work is a strong plus.
