Try Premium for $0 About the job Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer III to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and analytics solutions that address complex clinical and operational challenges and deliver measurable improvements in patient care, healthcare operations, and financial performance. This role supports the full lifecycle of predictive analytics, ML, and GenAI solutions while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams. 8+ years’ experience using AI/ML technologies, 5+ years’ experience using Python, R, or SQL, and 2+ years’ experience using full‑stack machine learning engineering is required, along with experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additional required experience includes developing and deploying LLM‑based agentic AI solutions using RAG or fine‑tuning, evaluating models for performance and bias, building RESTful APIs, working with NLP and unstructured data, and using open‑source ML frameworks. This role also includes mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in responsible AI. The salary for this position ranges from $105,000–$110,000, based on experience and candidates must sit in one of these approved states: AL, AR, FL, GA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MO, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WV. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Data Analytics, Math, Engineering, or a related field • 8+ years’ experience designing and deploying AI/ML‑driven predictive analytics solutions that support healthcare operations and financial performance • 5+ years' experience using Python, R or SQL • 2+ years' experience working as a Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer or a similar role • Working with cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, or Azure • Developing and deploying GenAI and LLM‑based agentic AI and automation solutions using RAG and/or fine‑tuning of foundation models. • Creating RESTful APIs to integrate ML and GenAI solutions into enterprise applications. • Mentoring team members in AI/ML development and deployment • Working with NLP technologies, big data, and unstructured data • Working with open-source ML libraries or frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Numpy, or Keras NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 2+ years' experience within a healthcare environment • Understanding of data governance, data engineering, data management, and data warehousing • Master's degree in IT, Business, Data Analytics, Math, Engineering, or a related field
