Responsibilities
Maintain and improve services that power Commerce’s Pricing Engine
Fix bugs and build features to enhance the Pricing Engine
Build and maintain pricing-related APIs (REST and GRPC)
Write end-to-end tests to validate pricing behaviors
Mentor and help engineers become more productive by removing blockers
Drive the technical vision for the Pricing Engine
Produce technical documentation of workflows related to the Pricing Domain
Work closely with product managers and other engineers to gather requirements and develop the team’s roadmap

Required
7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
Experience developing in Scala, PHP a plus
Able to dive in quickly learn a new domain
Attention to detail
Familiarity with creating end-to-end test suites. We use Playwright with TypeScript
Experience with evolving/scaling high throughput applications
Able to lead the team in project discovery, design, and implementation
Desire to work in a collaborative, open environment on an Agile team as a contributor and mentor
Bachelor's degree Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
