The team is responsible for building and maintaining our enterprise data warehouse and data marts, as well as developing business intelligence solutions for analysis. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding and translating business requirements into effective data mart models and marts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, and collaborating with clients to deliver solutions that meet their business needs. Below is a sampling of the Sr. Data Analyst duties, responsibilities and requirements: Key Responsibilities: · Data Analysis and Modeling: Design and develop data mart models using erwin to support business requirements, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of data. Utilize advanced SQL skills to query and manipulate data within the enterprise data warehouse environment. · Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous data validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency between source and target systems. Identify and resolve data quality issues to maintain a high level of data integrity. · Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions. Conduct thorough discussions to gather and clarify data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. · Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. · Minimum of 10 years of experience in a data analyst role within a data warehouse environment. · Expertise in SQL, programming and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). · Minimum 3 years of Enterprise data analytical experience using Power BI and other BI tools · Proven experience in designing and implementing data mart models, utilizing dimensional modeling techniques. · Strong understanding of data validation methodologies and tools, with a focus on data quality assurance. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams. · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
