Job description
We are currently looking for a Front-End Developer (React) to join a new analytics product initiative for a healthcare client. This role will focus on building a data-driven UI for a Databricks-based application, working closely with data engineers, backend developers, and ML teams.

Type: Contract (1099)
Full-time
Term: 3 months (with possible extension)
Location: US-based Remote
Start date: April

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop and implement front-end components for a Databricks-based analytics application

Build interactive dashboards with persona-based views, metrics, and visualizations

Implement chat-style interface and interactive insights powered by ML models

Collaborate closely with backend engineers integrating APIs and data services

Convert HTML/CSS prototype mockups into scalable React-based components

Work with developers on data preparation and UI integration

Ensure UI performance, responsiveness, and usability across devices

Participate in discovery, estimation, and prototype scoping phases

Contribute to UI architecture and component design for long-term scalability

Support iteration and feature development for MVP and post-MVP phases

Requirements:

5+ years of Front-End Development experience

Experience with React

Experience building data-heavy dashboards and analytics interfaces (will be a plus)

Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services

Experience working with data visualization libraries (e.g., Chart.js, D3, Recharts, etc.)(will be a plus)

Ability to work closely with data engineers and ML teams

Experience converting design mockups into production-ready UI

Nice to Have:

Experience with Databricks or analytics platforms

Experience working with healthcare domain projects

Experience with chat interfaces or conversational UI
