This candidate will become part of a team that provides environmental and civil engineering services to a wide variety of clients. Responsibilities · Coordinate and work on specialized environmental projects, environmental compliance and monitoring programs, and regulatory approval compliance for public, industrial, and commercial facilities · Interact with local and state environmental agencies, direct communication with clients, and develop internal and external marketing strategies to assist in department growth · Ability to perform business development, sales, and client management is required · Correspond with clients and regulatory agencies by phone, in writing and in person to communicate and establish expectations · Write proposals and bids · Oversee the work of staff engineers and technical subordinates · Industrial Wastewater Treatment design, permitting, and compliance.  · Air Permitting (Title V – minor), modeling and compliance. Requirements  · Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required · Minimum of 12 years experience · Professional Engineer (PE) preferred · Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements and development and implementation of programs · Familiarity with federal, state, and local agency regulations · Ability to manage and clearly communicate with staff and clients · Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D or GIS · Project Management Skills including interaction with local and state environmental agencies, direct communication with clients, and develop internal and external marketing strategies to assist in department growth · Valid drivers’ license and acceptable driving record required · A positive attitude and willingness to learn
