Power Apps/Power Automate Developer Location: Charlotte, NC (Local – Hybrid/Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement Pay Rate: $60-75/HR Role Summary: Developing and implementing Power Apps to streamline workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and integrating solutions across platforms. Responsibilities encompass Dataverse analysis, business case architectural design, and cost benefit analysis. The developer provides subject matter expertise for customer operations and collaborates with other functional areas, leveraging deep knowledge of business processes, system functionality, database tables, data analytics, and work group metrics. Responsible for designing, revising, and implementing innovative Power Apps / Automation solutions that address both customer and business needs. Role Requirements: Design and build business applications and automated workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate, following agile and test-driven development practices. Develop efficient, scalable, and secure solutions under broad supervision. Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners to deliver cloud-based automation solutions targeting Microsoft platforms, Azure, and other cloud environments. Communicate progress clearly, proactively identify and address blocking issues. Engage in paired programming and code reviews with senior developers to expand technical expertise and understanding of automation best practices. Conduct independent research to refine automation techniques and present findings to peers. Requirements: Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, UIPath, Automation 360, Blue Prism, Kofax RPA, or equivalent automation software. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or similar. Understanding of systems administration (cloud and data center) and architectural design of automation solutions. Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with business partners. Leadership skills and a deep understanding of cloud and data center infrastructure. HS Degree/GED + 9 years in automation engineering or software engineering role OR Associates degree + 7 years in automation engineering or software engineering role. *Beware of scams.
