Requirements
Experience with front-end technologies including Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, React and Next.js, modern build tools such as Vite or Webpack, server-side rendering, React Error Boundaries and Suspense, familiarity with RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus), and state management (React Context, Zustand, Redux, etc.).
Experience with back-end technologies including Node.js, Python with type checking (mypy), authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT), input validation libraries (Zod, Valibot), logging and monitoring (Sentry), and unit and integration testing (Vitest).
Relational database experience including PostgreSQL or MySQL, data modeling, schema migrations, advanced SQL concepts (window functions, common table expressions, materialized views, stored procedures, triggers), performance optimization (indexing, EXPLAIN ANALYZE), ETL and data pipelines, and experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka or RedPanda is a plus.
DevOps experience including continuous integration and deployment with GitHub Actions or GitLab Pipelines, Docker, Docker Compose (Kubernetes is a plus), infrastructure as code tools (Pulumi, Terraform), semantic versioning, deployment strategies, feature flags, linting/formatting tools (ESLint, Prettier), and cloud provider experience (AWS or others).
Willingness to undergo and obtain a Secret or Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Responsibilities
Build complete end-to-end web applications spanning client-side and server-side development to deliver functional, integrated solutions.
Implement responsive user interfaces and client-side logic.
Develop and integrate server-side business logic and APIs.
Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases, including data modeling, migrations, and performance tuning.
Create and manage API integrations and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
Desired Qualifications
Candidates with a GitHub (or other open-source) profile demonstrating code quality and attention to detail.
