Description About the Role: We're looking for a versatile and proactive AI Solutions Engineer to help us scale our internal capabilities by leveraging AI, automation, and lightweight software solutions across departments. You’ll collaborate with teams from operations, sales, customer success, engineering, and leadership to identify inefficiencies and rapidly prototype or implement tools that solve real problems. Your goal is to make every function in the company more effective through smart tooling and automation. Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify time-consuming or repetitive tasks that can be automated or optimized. Rapidly prototype tools, scripts, and internal apps using AI coding systems such as Cursor, AI models, APIs, and lightweight frameworks (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Google Apps Script). Support non-technical team members in completing partially automated workflows or AI-assisted processes. Evaluate and integrate third-party AI tools when appropriate. Help prototype and validate new product ideas using fast, iterative development cycles. Act as a technical consultant to teams working on their own automation initiatives. Ensure that all automations and internal tools are developed in alignment with our security and data handling policies. Follow secure coding practices and maintain appropriate access controls in any scripts, tools, or integrations. Document tools and workflows in accordance with internal audit and change management protocols. Partner with the compliance team to ensure tooling and automation efforts meet SOC 2 control objectives. Qualifications: 2–5+ years of experience in software engineering, automation, or related fields. Strong scripting and web development skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Google Workspace APIs, etc.). Familiarity with AI tools, APIs (like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Hugging Face), and prompt engineering. Experience building quick-and-dirty but reliable tools to solve business problems. Comfort working autonomously, juggling multiple internal stakeholders. Strong communication skills and empathy for non-technical users. Awareness of security and compliance considerations in automation and software development (SOC 2 familiarity is a plus). Experience working within environments that require compliance with internal controls, such as access control, audit logging, and secure development standards. Bonus: Hackathons experience.
