Job Description: Overview   

AGIS is looking for a talented and detail-oriented full stack engineer with strong experience with Python and working with LLM Apis serving patients in the Healthcare industry. 

You’ll work closely with and be the bridge between the product management team and clients to build AI assisted healthcare solutions. 

Responsibilities 
Integrate AI services (LLMs, OCR, document processing, STT & TTS, or classification systems) into new and existing application architectures 
Adjust, refine, and version AI prompts and workflows to improve accuracy, reliability, and real-world performance in production systems 
Develop high-quality, reusable UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks 
Collaborate with designers, peers, and product management to deliver consistent, elegant experiences 
Thoroughly test and debug code, participate in code reviews, provide documentation, and ensure systems meet healthcare-grade requirements 
Participate in testing, code reviews, and documentation

Requirements 
3–6+ years of experience building APIs and production-grade services
Hands-on experience integrating 3rd party APIs
Prompt design and iteration for LLM-based systems 
Strong proficiency with Python, Flask and building APIs
Experience with modern web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and preferably at least one modern frontend framework or jQuery-based production stacks) 
Comfort working across multiple codebases and projects simultaneously 
Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling for real-world applications 
Attention to detail and strong testing experience with a focus on optimal patient experience in mind

Nice to Have 
·        Experience in healthcare, compliance, or regulated environments
·        Experience with LLMs at the API level – writing basic prompts and troubleshooting invalid responses
·        Familiarity with automated, testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) 
·        Knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns (JWT, role-based access control) 
·        Experience with monitoring, logging, and production debugging 
·        Some NodeJS Experience (For Cross Training)
·        Understanding of LLM Technology “Under-the-hood” (Cosine similarity)
·        Vector Database Experience
·        Experience with OCR/STT/TTS or classification systems
