In this role, you’ll own the development and optimization of our public-facing digital properties. You’ll ensure that our website, landing pages, and portal are secure, high-performing and aligned with our brand and demand-generation goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Checkmarx’s websites to align with company branding and growth objectivesBuild and customize themes, templates, and plugins to support our lead generation, customer education, and product awarenessImplement and manage secure integrations with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and delivery toolsEnsure all web applications follow data privacy best practices, including secure coding standards and regular vulnerability scanningOptimize sites for speed, SEO, and accessibility, with a focus on enterprise-level performanceDevelop custom APIs or integrate external ones to support dynamic content and personalized user experiencesMaintain version control, staging environments, and local branches for reliable deploymentsMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, security, and integration issuesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field – or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience as a Wordpress developer with both front-end and back-end expertiseProficiency in: Languages:PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, SQL,Frameworks: React, jQuery, BootstrapWordpress APIs: REST, WP CLI, custom hooks/filtersExperience managing MySQL databases and optimizing queries for performanceUnderstanding of web security best practicesProficiency in version control and agile workflowsExcellent collaboration and communication skills
