📋 Description
•We are seeking a motivated, knowledgeable Web App Developer to join our engineering team.
•You’ll build and extend the web applications that power Mode Mobile’s platform, supporting hundreds of thousands of users every day.
•You’ll own projects from start to finish, working closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers.
•You’ll apply scalable development patterns, maintainable code practices, and thoughtful technical decisions that balance an exceptional user experience with measurable business impact.
•Take projects through planning, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. Projects may include ad monetization, customer account management, partner portals, gamification, and other features.
•Write high-quality, scalable, stable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
•Follow best practices in testing, code quality, accessibility, and performance, while contributing to unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage.
•Work both independently and collaboratively to deliver projects efficiently.
•Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend, Marketing) to deliver user-focused solutions that are aligned with company objectives and drive business outcomes.
•Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
•Our web app stack is built primarily with Next.js (React.js) and utilizes TypeScript, React Query/Zustand, and server-side rendering (SSR).
•We invest in automated testing with tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. CI/CD is automated through GitHub Actions, with deployments to AWS using modern cloud infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements
•You have 3-5+ years of professional experience building production web applications.
•Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices.
•Experience with:
•Next.js / React.js
•JavaScript (ES6+)
•TypeScript
•State management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Context API)
•RESTful APIs and GraphQL
•Accessibility (ADA, WCAG standards)
•Authentication, authorization, and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, OWASP Top 10)
•Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
•Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows.
•Prior work with PWAs is a plus but not required.
•A user-focused mindset — you enjoy building features that solve real user problems and drive meaningful engagement.
•A strategic perspective - you consider how technical decisions support larger product and business goals.
•Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
•You're passionate about automated testing and continuous delivery.
