Appian Designer, low-code development, BPMN, and data modelling. Understanding of integrations with REST, SOAP, and other systems; knowledge of Appian architecture and infrastructure you will spearhead the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of our cutting-edge software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the technical design and solutioning processes, crafting and deploying high-performance, scalable microservices using Spring Boot and other relevant technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java and Java Script development, Microservices architecture, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.Know your team (“Legacy Rewired, Engineering the Future”) Responsibilities· Lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions to support business strategies.· Provide technical direction and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and architecture principles.· Act as a key advisor to senior management on technology trends, innovations, and opportunities to enhance business operations.· Oversee and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.· Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.· Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of IT systems and applications.· Drive the adoption of modern technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve team productivity and system efficiency.· Mentor and develop technical talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.· Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.· Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.· Ensure that software designs align with business requirements and industry best practices. Must Have:· 8+ years of progressive experience in software development, or technology leadership roles· 5+ years of experience in Appian Platform, 3+ years of experience as Tech Lead.· 5+ years of experience in Java & React.· Appian Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Appian components such as Process Designing, SAIL, Rules, Security, and Integration.· Proficiency in Appian Designer, low-code development, BPMN, and data modeling· Integration and Architecture: Understanding of integrations with REST, SOAP, and other systems; knowledge of Appian architecture and infrastructure· Strong understanding of Java and Java Script implementation design patterns such as Builder pattern, Factory pattern, Visitor pattern, etc.· Strong understanding of Java, Java Script & REACT including exception/error handling best practices.· Familiarity with AWS Cloud platform.· In-depth knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance standards.· Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.· Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams.· Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.· Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a significant advantage.· Experience in optimizing web and mobile applications, enhancing their scalability, operating speeds, and making them responsive on various formats.· Experience in creating dynamic content for websites and digital platforms.· Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools.· Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.· Ability to work in an agile development environment.· Strong knowledge on creation of data models based on the provided requirements.· Strong knowledge of dependency management tools such as Maven/Gradle.· Strong knowledge on Clean Architecture and Clean code practices· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of system development methodologies, techniques, and tools.· Responsible for leading the delivery teams from end-to-end delivery standpoint.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· One team approach and team collaboration.· Positive mindset to learn new technologies.· Proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT systems and architectures. Good to Have:· Certification: Senior or Lead Developer certification is plus· Understanding of any integration/middleware tools like MuleSoft, ESB Implementations and API Gateways· Knowledge on Document management and generation systems/applications.· Experience with CI/CD pipelines.· Security-conscious development practices.· Proficient with AWS native services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and AWS CLI.    Regards, ManojDerex Technologies INCContact : 973-834-5005 Ext 206Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
