📋 Description
• We’re seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join a high-impact, new initiative within the Breeze Assistant team at HubSpot.
• Breeze Assistant is a fully conversational AI chief of staff designed specifically for Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.
• By integrating frontier AI capabilities with rich data from HubSpot and third-party applications, Breeze provides an AI assistant that fundamentally transforms team collaboration and productivity.
• As a Staff Engineer on the Breeze Assistant team, you’ll do many things—and you likely already have experience doing some of them in the past.

🎯 Requirements
• Have a long track record of experience delivering high-value, high-impact, cross-team projects.
• Have extensive full-stack engineering experience, particularly with deep backend expertise.
• Have experience developing new products from scratch.
• Have hands-on experience or familiarity with Generative AI technologies (LLMs, Agents, RAG, etc.).
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and pragmatic engineering skills.
• Have a strong grasp of secure, compliant application development practices.
• Committed to maintaining a hands-on approach to all technical aspects while providing leadership through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
• Provide strategic direction for major projects and drive technical decisions to solve challenging problems.
• Regularly mentor and teach engineers in their areas of expertise.
• Exhibit enthusiasm for building reliable, scalable systems.
• Can guide teams beyond the status quo.
