Staff Software Engineer – HealthTech - Fully Remote

We’re hiring a senior fullstack engineer to join a lean team of 2 fullstack engineers and 4 data engineers. You’ll own features end-to-end, ship production code weekly, and work directly with the CPO and VP of Engineering.

What You’ll Do
Build and maintain scalable fullstack systems powering real-time healthcare workflowsWrite clean, tested code in JavaScript/TypeScript (React) and Ruby (or ramp up quickly if not already experienced)Design backend services and APIs for operations, logistics, and AI-powered decisioningCollaborate closely with product and engineering leadershipTake full ownership—from idea to deploymentContribute to engineering standards, code reviews, and team velocity
Requirements
Senior-level experience (you’ve led features, owned systems, and shipped production code across the stack)Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactExperience with Ruby or past backend experience + confidence to ramp up quicklyProven experience using AI coding tools like Cursor, Windsurf, or GitHub CopilotSolid understanding of APIs, auth, HTTP, and backend fundamentalsClear communication and fast problem-solving in a team setting
