📋 Description
You will develop systems and provide technical leadership to software teams, supporting complex insurance product calculations, policy administration, and regulatory compliance for cash-value insurance products.
You will leverage your experience with insurance software and expertise with insurance products to influence software architecture decisions.
We're expanding our product suite to include sophisticated insurance products with intricate financial mechanics. You will help build new platform capabilities that can handle complex actuarial calculations, investment tracking, and policy value computations.
We work remotely, so effective written communication and teleconference skills are essential.

🎯 Requirements
8+ years of professional software development experience
Experience building financial calculation engines or working with complex mathematical computations
Understanding of insurance industry concepts, particularly life insurance products and their mechanics
Experience with actuarial calculations, present value computations, or financial modeling
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in financial services
Experience working with distributed systems that handle sensitive financial data
Experience with relational databases and complex data modeling
Experience designing APIs for financial systems
Experience building, deploying, operating, and troubleshooting mission-critical financial software
