In this senior technical role, you’ll lead the architecture and implementation of greenfield features, focusing on building scalable, reliable systems that solve meaningful problems for our customers and their clients. As a Staff Engineer, you’ll collaborate across Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to identify and execute high-impact projects. Your work will span system design, backend and frontend development, and integration with third-party services, with opportunities to incorporate advanced AI capabilities such as intelligent automation and data-driven insights to enhance user experiences. You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical direction of Healthie’s platform, mentoring engineers, and driving innovation that positions Healthie as a leader in healthcare technology. Balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, you’ll ensure the scalability, reliability, and usability of our platform while aligning with customer needs and business goals. About you You have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, Bonus Points for experience specializing in AI/ML technologies, developing and deploying production-grade AI systems at scale. You bring hands-on expertise in building machine learning models, natural language processing systems, and intelligent automation solutions, with a focus on delivering measurable impact for users. You have direct experience with our Tech Stack: Rails, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, RSpec, and Capybara. You have a strong background in software architecture, systems design, and scalable infrastructure, ensuring solutions integrate seamlessly with complex platforms. You excel at collaborating cross-functionally, leading technical initiatives, and mentoring engineering teams to build high-performing and innovative solutions.
