For us, purpose and people have always come before profit.How you'll contribute:Design, implement and test complex data integrations and transformation processes with nascent data sources while having a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, reliability and relevance.Engineer, orchestrate and maintain complex data pipelines, catalogs, reports and dashboards using data platform toolsBuilding and optimizing data storage and processing systems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and NoSQL databases.Continuously improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of data infrastructure.Create and maintain technical documentation and metadata, especially for data assets.Proactively triage operational alarms, exceptions, and failures while driving to the root cause, communicating with the right parties, contributing to the resolution and making improvements to prevent the problem from recurring.Identify areas for improvements, recommend solutions, and drive those solutions to completionCollaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and customers to discover needs and define business requirements and goalsDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, communicating insights, findings and recommendationsLead the development and implementation of best practices, policies and procedures for data governance, data security, and data privacyProvide thought leadership in the areas of data analysis, modeling, and visualizationLead and mentor technologistsWho you are:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics; Master's degree preferred10+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related fieldExpertise in multiple programming languages such as Scala, Python, TypeScript, C# or JavaExpertise with big data technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Kakfa or HadoopExpertise with cloud technologies, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.Expertise with distributed systems, parallel processing, microservices, serverless and containerization technologiesExpert understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.Expertise with modern source control, test automation and CI/CD tools and practicesExpertise in managing complex data infrastructure projects.Expertise with SQL, data modeling, ELT, schema design, data warehousing and data visualizationExpertise with statistical analysis and problem solving techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership and project management skillsBe someone who stays up to date with emerging technologies and best practices and  drives your team to do the sameExperience leading and mentoring senior technologistsThe expected salary range for this position is between:$118,008.00 - $150,000.00The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
