Job Description: Sr. QA EngineerPayTrace- Remote, USWhat you'll be doing:Review and Maintain our current automated testing scripts/processesDevelop new automated testing scripts/processesParticipate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing estimatesManaging a defect log, issue resolution and validation of the fixDevelop, Document and Maintain testing strategies and testing scenariosCollaborate with other Engineers, Architects, Quality Assurance, Quality Automation, System Engineers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters in solving new and existing technical challengesAnalyze and determine proper testing procedures/processesImprove quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage through lessons learned.Identify product performance issues during new product development. Assist in post-implementation, continuous improvement efforts to enhance systems and applications. What we need from you:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceMinimum (5) years of experience with QA and testing methodologies; payments industry experience preferredMinimum (5) years of experience analyzing system and application failures and bugsMinimum (3) years of experience in test automation with Test CafeMinimum (1) year of experience with Linux/UbuntuExperience writing SQL queriesExperience working in an Agile environmentExperience with testing web applicationsExperience with testing SOAP, REST, or similar web servicesExperience with source control such as Git, SVNAbility to write, debug and maintain test scads/scriptsAbility to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic, and timeline sensitive work environmentSalary Range: $80,000- $110,000Pay within this range varies by work location and on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
