The last company we started, Second Measure, scaled to 70+ people and tens of millions in revenue, and was ultimately acquired by Bloomberg in a landmark deal.The OpportunityAs our first Solutions Engineer at Turnstile, you'll be a key member of our early-stage team, playing a crucial role in driving our success as we scale up-market. You'll partner closely with customers on a daily basis, guiding them through onboarding and seamlessly integrating their core revenue processes onto the Turnstile platform. Serving as a critical bridge between Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams, you'll ensure alignment and deliver impactful business outcomes for our customers.In this role, we'll ask you to:Onboard our largest customers’ core revenue processes onto TurnstileDiagnose and solve complex customer needs using existing tools and new tooling as you deem necessaryThink like a Product Manager and operate with autonomy to:Build operator tooling to help accelerate your own role and that of non-technical supportBuild customer features that make onboarding easier and faster for customersProvide feedback to product teams in terms of customer demands and system operabilityBecome familiar with Turnstile’s application and codebase, and use that knowledge to help customers run their businessesWork with Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Product teams to deliver critical business outcomesWe'd love to hear from you if:You have 5- 10 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer/Architect, Sales Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer-type role - collaborating closely with customers to solve their real-world challengesYou’re comfortable building fullstack applications using Typescript and ReactYou have strong communication skills and high customer empathyYou are adept at building operator tooling and being resourcefulYou are experienced bridging the gap between non-technical support and product teamsYou’re curious about B2B software, enterprise sales, and revenue operationsYou'd excel working in a dynamic and high-trust environment alongside an experienced teamBonus points for experience with:Next.js, Prisma, tRPCBuilding and scaling early teams of Solution, Sales, or Forward Deployed EngineersEarly-stage startups and 0 → 1 product developmentRevenue operations, quote to cash or modern finance stacksWorking at TurnstileCompetitive and Fair Pay: Equal pay by role and level at the 75th percentile of SF salaries ($185,000 to $205,000 for this role, depending on level) plus meaningful equityFully Remote: Distributed by design with team members from San Francisco to RaleighFully Covered Health Benefits: 100% paid medical, mental health, dental, and vision premiums for you and your familyPaid Parental Leave: 16 weeks for birthing parent, 12 weeks for all other parents welcoming a new child into their home401(k): With 4% company contribution, regardless of what you put inFlexible PTO: Take the time you need to unplug and unwindSetup: New Mac + $1,500 annual stipend to make your home workspace more comfortable and productiveTurnstile is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
