Join us in a vibrant and growth-driven environment where you'll have the opportunity to elevate your professional skills and make a meaningful difference!We’re seeking a Director of Solutions Architecture to be the driving force behind Automat-it’s bold entry into the US market. As our first team member on the ground, you’ll be in charge of building our Solutions Architecture and related activities from the ground up.  In this position, you will be a key member in the pre-sales process, working directly with global startup customers and cross-functioning with account executives to develop AWS solutions for the customers. As the business grows, you’ll also have the exciting opportunity to recruit and mentor a top-performing local solutions architecture team, shaping the future of Automat-it in the US. This role reports to the CTO.📍 Work location - hybrid from NYC, USA             
            ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement solutions to meet business requirements and create cost-efficient, highly available, and scalable solutions for customers, including Well-Architected reviews and SoW.Research and analyze current solutions and initiate improvement plans.Develop and adjust vertical-specific solutions for the local market.Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed and developed according to best practices.Share your knowledge with our customers and the cloud community by participating in public speaking engagements such as workshops, conferences, webinars, and more.Build a strong relationship with the AWS Startup SA community.Commitment to regular business travel locally and abroad, including frequent visits to the AWS offices in Manhattan            
            Requirements5+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, including implementation, migration, and maintenance, designing solutions end-to-end2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent1+ years of work experience in a Professional Services/Consulting companyExtended experience in an IT environment, including hands-on in Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps toolsProven experience in a production environmentIn-depth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes, Databases, and Data servicesSuccessfully designed DevOps and Infrastructure for high-scale production environments in AWSUnderstanding of Information Security best practicesCertified AWS Solutions Architect - AssociateAbility to effectively communicate technical design in verbal and written formats in front of customers (SOW, LOE, HLD)Ability to lead an end-to-end engagement with the account management teamProven track record of leading and developing diverse, high-performing teamsStrong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skillsExceptional communication in English and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspireExperience managing budgets, project timelines, and resources effectivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAWS Solutions Architect Professional or a specialty certification - an advantage
