Description Title: Solution Engineer Department: Tarpon Services Reports to: Lead AI Engineer Compensation: Competitive pay, unlimited PTO, bonus, benefit stipend Location: Remote Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data pipelines, transforming messy and siloed data into usable formats for AI-driven insights. Serve as the “glue” between current state client data and where it needs to be — making it available for AI, analysts, or transacting directly into EMRs. Collaborate with AI engineers and developers to integrate models into real-world workflows; most of the heavy lifting is done by the models, but you’ll make them work in practice. Build and deploy custom automation and integration solutions tailored to each client’s environment. Work directly with stakeholders, from operations staff to executives, translating technical concepts into business value. Iterate quickly, problem-solve creatively, and adapt solutions as client needs evolve.   Required Qualifications: Engineering degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Data Science. 1–3 years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, or data engineering. Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, C#, or similar). Hands-on experience with modern AI technologies, including LLMs, diffusion models, and AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain) Experience working with data structures, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (containers, cloud ML tools). Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable in client-facing roles with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Energetic, adaptable, and excited to learn new technologies in a fast-moving environment.
